Energy and spectral efficient relay selection and resource allocation in mobile multi‐hop device to device communications

The expansion of smart devices and throughput requirements have triggered the integration multi-hop Device to (D2D) underlay fifth generation (5G) network. This new paradigm has extended coverage area enabled ultra-low latency cost-per-bit communications. While previous 3GPP releases address only problem via two-hop D2D, this paper focuses on D2D defined in release 15 beyond. It proposes a distributed relay selection resource allocation algorithm based mixed strategy game novel amplify forward factor. proposed schema maximizes joint spectral energy efficiency. Besides, it determines optimal amount data transferred by each device. efficiency approach against other state-of-the-art solutions is evaluated verified through computer simulations.
